Hi everyone,
this is in regards to using an directX plugin in live. The plugin i want to use is called Mic Modeler http://www.antarestech.com/products/amm.shtml
So because live wont accept directX plugins, I tried to use VB FFX4 http://www.vb-audio.com/ which is a vst plugin where u can run directX plugins within the vst. When I try to load the Mic Modeler, I get a error message "input PIN does not accept format". I think it has something to do with PACE interlok which is some sort of anti-piracy thing. Can anyone shed any light onto this matter eg used any of the above plugins. Thanx

warping samples is VERY COOL. I recorded a C on an old Hoefner classical guitar using the NT1, encoded it and now I have a virtual guitar sound! Just the v-synth sounds are great. I do mostly uplifting trance, so there are some really good presets for it but also a lot of potential for making own sounds. Then there is the emulation of the D-50, which is just AWESOME!! I havn't heard an original D50 but it sounds very good. And finally the vocoder. Probably the best one out there. The have some wicked sounds like, making your voice sound like a lead rock guitar. Other classic 80's vocder presets, and of course small and huge quires (i think wrong spelling, very tired). Definately an awesome musical instrument, wise investment and something that is extremley expandable and upgradable. Well thats my 2 cents!
