Is it me or is nudging clips only global?

I must`ve dreamed it. So nudging clips seems to be global on all playing tracks, I`m almost sure last time I used it ,it was track specific.....
It seems that the highlighted track is the only track nudged or if scene selected alltracks in that scene. Whats the point of remote controlling this if u have to mouse select the track?
