Post by sawtchris » Mon May 29, 2006 1:57 am

I need some help here . Can somebody please tell me the easiest way to record a vocal track over a windows media file? I thought that this would be an easy task , but I can't figure it out ! I'm REALLY new at this and I need walked through this step by step. Also what is the difference between lite 4 and lite 5 ??? Any help would be appreciated.

use the "arranger view"

drag the clip you want to record your vocals over into your first audio slot and let live do the sample analysis

make some more audio tracks

click on the record button to the right of your 2nd audio track and hopefully you'll be able to hear yourself

click the record button at the top of the screen

click the play button that's close to it and the music will start playing (you can go to options if you want a count-in)

do your thing! hit the spacebar when you're done.
