I have only had Live for a couple of days and I can already see I'm gonna love this program. I'm having one problem though. I don't know how to assign individual clips to individual keys of my Oxygen 8. I've been doing everything by mouse. If anybody has any input on this I would really appreciate it.

click the midi tab at the top right of the page, things turn blue, click the clip slot you wish to assign (or knob, or fader or whatever) then hit the key on your ox 8 and a number should appear in the clip slot. hit midi tab again to exit midi mapping mode. should be all set.
