I have a m-audio firewire audiophile soundcard.
It seems like most m-audio soundcards don't work really well on low latency settings in Ableton live 5.2.
My latency setting is set to 7.32 ms.
I can't go any lower than that, otherwise I'll get crackling fizzy sounds and even drop outs. 7.32 ms of latency is quite a lot for a DJ and I want a lot less since I record audio loops live on stage with a FCB1010.
My specs:
Ableton live 5.2
Macbook pro 1.83ghz
2gb ram
Anybody have advice on other soundcards which work better in a lower latency setting?
