how TO combine 2 warped live sets with different bpms?

Post by marcus78 » Thu Jun 08, 2006 11:55 pm

does anyone know of a way to combine 2 WARPED sets with different tempos/bpms? I'm working around it by creating transition loops and typing in the new bpm. I have one set at 120bpm going to 180 bpm. Yes, it's easy to do this with unwarped/normal samples but with warped loops? thanks!

If the songs have equal track amounts, it should work to drag the second song from the browser into the session view underneath the clips for the first song. Rename the first scene of the first song the bpm you want, like "120 bpm" or "120bpm." Likewise, name the first scene of the second song "180 bpm" or "180bpm." All scenes under the 120bpm label will be at 120 until the new label of 180bpm appears.

thanks biorhythm! I realized that my problem was "warping" all my audio samples. Unwarped audio samples play at the original/normal bpm, irrespective of the current LIve Set tempo. it makes triggering and looping very difficult but I guess that's the trade off. so here's a new question: any way to combine 2 WARPED audio samples with different bpm's?
