I am using ableton since a while and normally recording at 44.1K sample rate ..
after tweaking with buffers latency is no longer a problem but TODAY it seems live has gone crazy' and it won't record properly at 44.1:
when I go to audio option, set the tone on and switch to 32 or 48 the tone is fine but as soon as i switch to 44,1 the tone becomes intermittent and irregular, like if there is a problem specifically with 44.1
so I tried to switch to 48000 and even lower at 32000 and in both cases it works fine!!!
how is this possible? why the hell it's now not possible anymore to use 44100?
any ideas?
I have been using digitech GNX4 as audio input device and output device in ableton audio preferences
I tried to reboot the program and the PC but now ther's no way I can use 44100 anymore
also: what is the procedure to set up the buffers correctly to reduce latency?
