SYSEX

So does Live 5 support recording SYSEX? I never moved from Live 4 due to all the issues various people have had but SYSEX support may prompt me to take a look.

Halfway there though. Ableton recently included sysex support for the remote SL implementation.
As soon as they remember there are other Live users besides SL users... We might see some of those features too.

lol. you must be a software purebread.

its the hexidecimal midi language of hardware that lets you dump settings to a sequencer for storage purposes. like whole memory(sounds etc.) of a synthesizer and setups. i used to use it so when i played songs from my mpc2000 it would tell my jp8000 the exact settings for the songs when you hit play.

oh, and its nothing sexual, its a compound abbreviation standing for system exclusive.
