So, recently after using the Ultralight, 5.2 seems to crash all the time on me. It just goes away mostly when loading a set or saving a set. I went as far as formating my Powerbook and re-installing everything (OSX, Live) and not using VSTs. Same problem still exists. Now my music partner got the Ultralight and she had the same problem during one of our sets this weekend.
Has anyone had this problem? We use Powerbook G4s, on OSX 10.4.6. I sent all the crash logs etc to Ableton, but have yet to hear back.
Is there an order you have to connect the Ultralight and Firewire drive? An order to turning them on? Dunno the problem, but Live has killed to very important shows of mine recently.
