anyone remember Future Sound Of London?

what ever did happen to them?

itunes just popped on one of their tunes from i think . . .1994.

they had some really cool things going on back in the day. are they still recording/producing?

or is it all isness stuff?

They are fucking good, one of the best electronic producers ever, thanks for the link didn't know they have released new material.
A day without House Music isn't the end of the world but is so damn close.

glad to know they are still going.

they really were going strong for a while.
i wonder what makes such a electronics-heavy band go into complete reverse?

drugs? laziness? annoyance with the scene? fatigue?

They are such anti-social people: they don't perform on stage but via ISDN :)
Serato vs. TFS: who cares?
Mac vs. PCs: who cares?

While it's true FSOL do not anymore perform on stage, Amorphous Androgynous do.

Incidentally their next release is due to be an FSOL title, with their latest being an FSOL remix of The Isness called The Otherness.

Love Dead Cities. I know I'm one of 5 people who do but it rocks.

total boredom with making electronic music by numbers? wake-up kids, dance/techno is dead. the golden era of orbital, FSOL, Orb is over.

the new underground pop is back to guitar, bass, drums and vocals.

time to ditch your midi and your samples and learn how to play an instrument!
