live5.2 and intel mac...cannot find vsts--help

weird...5.1 recognise them and then uninstall and load 5.2 and then live will not recognise...even when they are moved to a custom folder...odd.....and frustrating...help!!

it's horrible how often this problem comes up.

the problem is, 5.0.1 was not universal binary so all your plugs and live were running under rosetta, now that you're running 5.2 (universal binary version) you cannot run any plugs unless they are also universal.

no intel kids know this apparently.

doesn't sound very universal to me. I'm still trying to figure out the "universal" part.

get new more powerfl laptop,pay for upgrade...lose all compatability to favourite vsts ...what tha f@£k!!!!

If your fave plugs are from smaller developers, try contacting them and asking if they're planning Universal Binary versions. Also check the KVR forum, there's a list of available plugs there that will work on MacIntel

don't get mad dude, blame yourself for not reading the 6 billion posts about this exact same thing.

I understand it sucks but before you go out and spend 3 grand I'd sudjest reading about it.
