I'm trying to work out how to use four midi/usb controllers to trigger 4 seperate VSTis so that 4 people can jam together. I'm confused as I can only get one channel to play at once when the record button is red. Any ideas gratefully received.

You can enable "in" on multiple tracks from the pulldown menu, and that should allow each track to receive midi simultaneously. Additionally, you can toggle record on multiple tracks by holding down ctrl and clicking multiple record buttons.
