Does live replace the rex library in reason or something?
I can't get any audio from reason into logic ever since the upgrade!
Will re-installing logic/ reason solve this?!
(OSX.2, logic 6, reason 2.5, tibook 867, emagic emi2|6)

the Logic 6.1 upgrade replaced the rex or rewire lib (don't remember which) with a corrupt one... there's a download at the prop'heads site for the fix...
see if that's the key?

Thanks, but no - I'm using logic audio (6.01) - and it worked just fine befor i've installed live.
I'll try to fiddle with that later.
Just wanted to see if anyone had a similar problem.

Hi yuval,
- which Live version do you have installed?
- what means you get no audio from reason into Logic?
Can you still select Reason as ReWire slave in Logic?
- Live is replacing the ReWire library just if the current version is older. Please look into the Application Support folder. There must be a file called "ReWire". Open the info dialog a look which version it is?
regards,
Alex

Hi Alex
Thansk for replying. I'm using rewire v1.4.7 (Build 74, reason 2.5) and live 2.1 . I'm installing 2.1.1 today, and if it doesn't work, I'll just install reason + logic again.
rewire from reason to live works perfect, btw - And cheers for correcting that annoying 1st loop note bug!

Live has added 16 more rewire channels, in order to act as logic's slave - I've reconfigured the channels back to reason, and everything works.
Alex - You can add this to your documentation - people who use reason + live apps as slaves might encounter it.

Sorry, but I don't understand. Can you explain me explicit what you did and what you mean with "added 16 more rewire channels"?

There are now 2 sets of inputs into Logic via Rewire..Mix L/R Live and the various Live bus outs and Reason L/R Mix and the various Reason mono outs. You may be selection the Live Mix out thinking it is Reason. I made the same mistake. When you see the Rewire list of outputs in Logic Live is the top one and Reason is down the list some.
Hope this helps.
