Should I buy a used 1.83GHZ macbook pro or a 2GHZ macbook?

Hi all,

As I mentioned in another post I'm moving to another country in 2 months. As per I'm wanting to get a new laptop (I'm an avid mac user) as it might be a while before i can afford to upgrade again.

I've found a used macbook pro 1.83GHZ with the stock options for the same price as a (black) Macbook new. Is there any reason why I should get the macbook over the macbook pro?

One factor, I'm going to be living in a tropical country, will over heating be a issue with the 1.83 GHZ?
