i listened to this cus i never really heard any sort of tarnce. i kept reading everywhere that tarnce is ghey so i was never really curious. until now.

i don't like it as a genre, but this tune sounds alright. it evolves nicely, thus the term progressive i suppose, and the mixing is as good as it gets to my ears.

i'm just halfway in the track and it didn't get dull for one second. i'm feeling those flute fx's. tho this is not my cup off tea, this is hands down a great track

Checked out your tunes. Nice production. I used to listen to a lot of trance stuff when I was into necking pills!

This is nice and progressive. If I was to suggest one thing it would be to add a nice piercing lead without any delay. I think it would contrast nicely with the delayed and panned synths that you use to great effect.

hey man

this is really nice

only thing I will say is the end dwindles on a bit too long - you could almost cut 2 mins off it

it's funny I only clicked on this because I've moved to Brisbane and there seems to be shit loads of talk of "psy-trance" and I know f-all about it - I used to go to very druggy fluro hippy hard-house and trance clubs in London in about 2000 and kind of feel the same as the other poster who said about necking pills - not something I do these days

maybe I just wouldnt have called this psy-trance but it's not what I expected to hear

the bass line does sound a little reminiscent of platipus records etc in the mid 90s - so I guess both progressive and trance is a fair description - if so then I should listen to more of it!

I think of more the goa faster 303 acid line type stuff when I hear the words Psy-trance - with loads of harsh synths sounds etc

personally I'm more into the techno/tech-house end of things these dyas so I'm probably missing out on the good stuff in trance - but some fukwits kind of killed the genre for me in the early naughties by using the term to describe some of the most appalling plastic soulless music. So from then on the word "trance"turned me right off

yeah its a bit like that isnt it. the word trance has horrible connotations to it.
i dont even really like saying "psytrance"

This is more of a track for the outdoor party kind of scene. not really a drugged up fluoro wearing alien head phat pants thing, more of a get your feet muddy, stomping in the bush drugged up hippy kind of thing.

so yeah, not really psytrance in the traditional sense, but the progressive bush psy thing has been pushing it in a more subtle direction, which is kind of what im trying for. - still a bit of a way to go but its fun getting there :D :D
