Infinitely zoomed in view: where id my set go?

I walked away from an open set and saw this;

no matter how much i zoom out, it just keeps displaying this infinitely precise 0:00:00:00 time and will not display any part of my set. if i press play however, it plays what was there, but it does not display a play head. because i cannot select a timespan, i can't even render what i once had. any ideas on what could have caused this/how to fix it?

can you grab the right side of the zoom brace with the mouse?
