Mac> Locators only work when assigned to numbers?

Tried assigning letters on the keyboard to locators but they don't seem to work properly. With numbers though, either on the main keyboard or the 10-key all is fine. No mention in the manual and wondering if it's just me?

Mac g5 2x2.5 10.4.7
Live 5.2

I'm wondering: didn't you forgot to turn off the "computer MIDI keyboard" icon, close to the KEY button ?

Hi,

no prob. That's a most common error

normally, the KEY button should flash in red when you try to use KEY assignations and the MIDI computer keyboard is enabled, to warn you. But it seems some don't see it.
