well, I have one but it is probably not going to play on anything less than a modern CPU .. Im on a Dothan 2.0 and it gives me about 65% . So be warned
DOWNLOAD THE AMBIENTAL ALS
There is no midi or samples - just default Ableton effects
Remember to
press play and leave it to settle down!
otherwise it just sounds like a metal pounding factory.

NIce!
Pepe, can i ask a question - where does the noise come from when theres no wav playing? is it just the resonators on some kind of internal feedback, cant see a sound source... also i tried routing my synths audio into the channel but for some reason this wouldnt be affected as much as if i dropped a 1 hit into the channel!
great wee toy btw, i just sat with it on for around an hour twiddling things immense, love toys like these!

exactly. Does someone know where the crackles come from? Are they generated randomly or is there a "crackle.wav" hidden somewhere in live?

Here's another one,
this actually makes a kind of 'dance music' song complete with kiks, snares hats , bassline and sort of chordy thing!
Download the sort of generative song
again it's probably heavy on CPU because that's the kind of guy I am.
remember to press play!

Ouch, my ibook 1,3 Ghz dies with this set. 215%CPU sounds interesting as well, but that's probably not the sound that it should have been making ...

Yes, a bit of a problem really - I do these things late at night as a big audio doodle - and I only stop when I get somewhere near my CPU threshold ... which is probably considerably higher than most peoples. Especially PPC peoples. the above 'dancey' thing gives me 65% on a dothan 2.0 - probably the same for people on a new mac.
I wonder if this one will run - it gets about 30% on mine.
its a kind of tangerine dream number !
>>>
Download a melodic Tangerine Dream style Generative ALS<<<
again - it wont do anything until play is pressed because the beat-repeaters need that.

hmm, still needs much more cpu. I am at 150% with the tangerine one. I deleted the reverb and some tracks, now I have some hypnotic arpeggios going. Nice!!
