bug or feature? No VST Plugs in Rewire Slave Mode?

Did my faint eyes lie when live 2.11 told me that it doesn´t support VST Plugs in ReWire Slave Mode?

Ableton:
Is this intendet to stay this way?
How about Audio Unit Support?

Right now Live doesn't support VST under ReWire or Audio Units.

Both will probably come in future versions, but we cannot give you any release date or version number. Sorry for that.

I'm sorry, but I am succesfully streaming audio into live via rewire from reason and processing with vst plugs. Live 2.1.1. Is it not supposed too?
