I've been playing about with Live 2.0.1 for a bit now, knocking together rough dj sets from whole tracks in realtime, and I'm looking for a way to stream Live's Master Output to other computers on my home LAN, so others can listen in as I'm practising.
As far as I can see, there's no way at all to do this from within Live, so I was wondering if there's any other software that would allow me to do this?
I'd hoped that I might be able to somehow feed the audio from Live into Winamp via some kind of plug-in, and then just use ShoutCast to stream it to the other PCs, but I've had no luck as yet.
Any help much appreciated.
Streaming Live output over network?

Me too...
I'm interested in this sort of thing too.
What I want to do is to run audio from one app into another on seperate computers via a network. For example, to route Reaktor's output on one machine into Live's input on another. It'd be really cool if you could also sync apps at the same time...
I think this is theoretically possible, given direct networks speeds etc, but I've been doing endless searches and I can't find anything about it anywhere... BTW, i'm using OS X on both machines...
Any ideas?

QuickTime Broadcaster
If you're on OS X, consider the free QuickTime Broadcaster for live performances...

I'm not, I'm on WinXP :s I had a thought though, for any others in my situation, which I will try when I have time. I have a Soundblaster Audigy, on which you can map any of the ports on the card to any function you like. I was thinking I could have it setup so I have 2 identical stereo outs (one connected to the amp), a line in, and a rear stereo out (for headphone cueing.) I could connect the other stereo out to the line-in, which could play through Winamp. I could then stream it to any of the other PCs on our LAN (or even over the Net) using a Shoutcast server, thus letting others hear what I hear as I'm doing it. Also has the advantage that I could use Winamp visualisation plug-ins which would be matched to the tempo of my Live performance, which would be cool for playing in projector-equipped venues.
If anyone has tried this and knows if it's possible, please let me know. If not, I'll give it a go when I have time and post any results here.
