Audio effects

How do I put the Audio Effects into the middle of the song and take them out before the song ends? (I don't want this particular effect applied to the entire song.

Session or Arrange view?

In arrange (the view you should be using to compose) view you can achieve what you want using automation. Look it up - you'll love it....
