Hard Drive bad - need to re-install

My hard drive went bad (on a six month old iMac G5, no less). Haven't got it back yet, but will I lose my second license on a re-install? Also, will my Operator license re-install?

email ableton they will work it out for sure. they aren't beyond reasoning.
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.
