Live 4.16 and Rewire - Intel Macs
I have a new Intel based MacbookPro and am trying to Rewire Reason 3.0 with Live 4.16, but it won't work. Has anyone else experienced issues with Intel macs and Rewire?
u probably nedd to run both apps in rosetta mode, but not sure if that would work because of the difference between intel and ppc mac.
live 5.2 is the only Universal Binary version, which means it will run on nu intel macs natively. However, you will also need to get the UB version of Reason (which i think is 3.05) for the whole rewire thing to run with all of the advantages of the Intel processor.
hope this helps. j

If you're using version 3.0.5 of Reason it wont work. This version is an Universal Binary so that it runs native on Intel CPUs. Start Reason in Rosetta mode (do get info on the Reason app), and it should work, although you lose all your performance....
Best way is to update Live to version 5.2.1 and make sure you use the latest 3.0.5 version of Reason.... then everything is UB and performance isn't an issue anymore....!
