I'm getting this all the time with Sonalksis plugins and 5.2.1

I downgraded to 5.2 and it works great.

Hello,

I've got the same problem here.
I'm using Ableton Live 6 with a MacBook Core 2 Duo & 2 giga ram.
Sometimes, when I'm tweaking some plug-ins pots the CPU overload suddenly for 1 or 2 seconds, while my project are normally between 20 and 30 %.
Is this because of the graphic card ?

Hello, yesterday I've got the same problem. But I run Live from the Windows. I've observed that the CPU frequency sometimes decreases. I've been shocked 8O Then I misunderstood that this think happens, because cooler of my processor didn't spins=)) I'm turned off my notebook and cleaned cooler with
vacuum cleaner) Now all works pretty good!)
Sorry for the my perfect English)

Had similar since upgrading to 6.0.10, namely getting stutters (Small audio segment repeats then suddenly track jumps forwards) and seemingly random Live CPU meter values of 145%, 530%, 850% - Task Manager CPU monitor shows no such peaks.

This has been occuring on projects that worked with no problems whatsoever on 6.0.9 (Although reverting back to 6.0.9 after the install of 6.0.10 the problem still manifested).

Rolled back any VST installed in last month (So to pre-install of 6.0.10)
Rolled back upgrade to Renoise 1.9
Rolled back install of Reaper 2
Uninstalled Live 6.0.9 and Live 6.0.10, then just installed 6.0.10

Finally got the stutters and CPU 'overload' from happening by switching off the multi-CPU support button and running single CPU.

In single CPU operation do not get the problem, on multi CPU get the problem intermittently - I have a simple project that I can get the stutter/CPU > 100% happening repeatably in multi-CPU mode and not at all in single CPU mode,

Environment :

Dell Inspiron 9400 2 CPU
1 Gb Ram
Windows XP SP2
M Audio Audiophile USB
