very slow loading set with dragged-and-dropped midi track

XP Live 5.2.1:

I have a set with 3 tracks:
1) plain old audio 2) Kore midi track 3) kontakt 2 track..

Everything here works fine and behaves normally.

If I drag Reaktor 5 to create a new track (and load splitter ensemble, for the record), closing Live and reopening this set both take a very long time.

Instead, if I create a new midi track and then drag Reaktor 5 onto the new track and do the same things, everything happens quickly.

In short, creating a new track by drag&drop causes the set to open and close very slowly.

I am not sure if this has to do with the specific plugins I am using, so I listed them for completenss sake. It is reproducable repeatedly with the same set, however.

anybody else?

Hi Craig, I couldn't reproduce this problem. Do you have any other VST plug-ins installed to reproduce this? Or does it only happen with Reaktor?

How long do you mean by "very long time" ?

I will work on narrowing down the problem. I wouldn't be surprised if it were some weird interplay between Reaktor and Kore.

I can send you a project file that exhibits this behavior.
