I have never programmed anything midi before. Im aware that the Kenton C.F. needs to be programmed. I want to use the sliders for volume control and 6 buttons to arm tracks for recording....difficult?
Anyone have experience with this unit?
Thanks,
TK

In answer to your question, yes, the CF is bugger to program. Nice piece of gear, but if you're not familiar with MIDI programming, it is a challenging device to learn on... I am very happy with my Remote 25, and the programming is much easier. Granted, the CF can do just about anything that can be done w/MIDI, while the Remote is a little more limited. Plus the CF is red and made of metal. And $100 cheaper...

for using live i just took one of the basic templates that had a cc associated with each fader and then programmed the buttons to send note info. 10 minutes work.
