mac book pro midi not working

i just got a mac book pro and installed ableton 5.1 but none of my midi files are working the cpu is reaching a 150 % and then its just spitting out crappy noise any help ?

You need to get the Universal Binary version of 5.2. 5.1 isn't optimized for the MacIntels.
