Decent PODCASTS anyone?

Post by SubFunk » Mon Aug 14, 2006 9:41 am

hi guys, i am fairly new to the world of the IPod and Podcasts, but was wondering if any of you have a few tips / links for grabbing some decent Podcasts, preferebly DJ-Mixes of techouse, funky techno, breaks and anything non cheesy, non commercial that moves the hips / butt and rocks like Acid!

i only found really commercial cheesy stuff so far... yuck! but i am shure there are sources of quality.

thanks a lot for your help!

Beatport do a decent one.

Search for 'Beatport.com Burners' in the Podcasts directory in iTunes.

Just try & ignore the woman spelling their URL at the end of the 'cast!

BlackOut Audio Radio:
Thanks to Hardline 77, Blackout Audio at last has its own weekly radio show. It's replaced Carl Cox's show on Moscow's 'Megapolis 89.5FM' and has just been accepted nationally on Ukraine's 'Star FM'. Massive thanks to all members that have helped get this underway. Mark EG will be the host - and man of the moment Joris Voorn is interviewed on the show. Tracks from Underground Resistance and Richie Hawtin are featured. The very first Blackout Audio Radio Show will be up on this site from 31st November (click the radio link on the left).

Check out our weekly radio show (The Loop Music Mix Show) on Reticent Radio, we aim to showcase some of the best music from the London club scene and have featured loads of good underground music from a variety of different scenes.

So far we've had guest mixes from the likes of Paralllel Sound, Andy Newland, Mike Miller, Steve Saw, Domne Kane, Anil Chawla, Nigel Marcussen, Adam Helliwell, Kate Lawler, Twisted Melon etc

It's podcast and available through the iTunes Music store as well as direct from the site for details on downloading/subscribing check:
