What are it's limitations from the full version?

Well for a start it has no ReWire capabilities.

So I guess its a clever teaser aimed at getting PT users who have never heard of Live to see how great Live is.....then realise that to be serious they need the ReWire function which in turn will mean thay have to purchase a full-blown copy of Live !!

Ableton Live Digidesign Edition
A flexible, incredibly intuitive sample sequencer application that enables you to both create, modify, and playback loops, phrases, and songs via Ableton's "elastic audio" technology.Multiple samples can be automatically played back simultaneously at a user-defined tempo, and, as with Reason, all audio readily finds its way into Pro Tools via ReWire

I think the limitations center around track count (6 tracks I believe) and a few other things. The idea is to show hoe Live works with Pro Tools. The Reason Adapted limits you to a fixed set of instruments but rewire works in that as well.
