No. Maybe you wouldn't mount the computer itself on the wall. But you could mount the monitor, which would look better anyway..... since it would be thinner than an iMac.
Oops.... LOL nevermind.
M-Tech D900T laptop, 17" WSXGA+ wide-screen, Intel Pentium 4 3.4 GHz HT (600 series) 2 MB cache, 2048 RAM (Dual Channel DDR2 PC4200 533 MHz), Dual hard drives: 80 gig x 2 = 160 gig SATA 5400 rpm (RAID 0 config)

aside from the fact that they are quad, the internal bus is significantly faster as well.
But I'm using a macbook pro, and this machine feels pretty smoking. I feel like the dual core 2.33 mghz iMac is the way to go given its price point. If you buy the quad you still have to get a monitor (if you don't have one already) and that can run you $4k easily.

Too bad I just got a 24" screen--- otherwise I might well have bought the iMac.robtronik wrote:aside from the fact that they are quad, the internal bus is significantly faster as well.

Nobody knows if they are. Power consumption, heat, etc.rbmonosylabik wrote:any idea of when are the macbooks with core 2 duo coming out?
Suit #1: I mean, have you got any insight as to why a bright boy like this would jeopardize the lives of millions?
Suit #2: No, sir, he says he does this sort of thing for fun.

nope, but I am guessing we will see it on the macbook pros for a longer period of time prior to the macbooks to help justify the price difference.
Hope that's not the case, but could be. There's an Expo next week, some video ipods, maybe a quad macmini, or macbook pro with the new meroms might come out of the apple veil, I guess we wait and see....
