How would you feel if Ableton started moderating this forum?

the way things are, it's getting out of hand. so I voted for mods.

what about if an OT forum was created so all the OT threads/discussion could go in there and the general forum was actually about live? that plus some moderation (from level headed users) could help bring things under control again. :D

I voted 'yes', but I don't think that the abes should have to do this. They have enough crap to deal with already... someone from the "community" should be anonymously appointed to do it.

And I cannot stress the word "anonymous" enough. Mod power trips are even more unpleasant than a sea of OT threads.

YEP....I agree 110%!
Together with all the threads in this one "General" Forum, it's starting to get way too cluttered and taking up 3 pages just for 1 day's worth of posts! That is ridiculous and needs fixin' NOW.

I also raised the issue a long time ago that I think the forum text is just too damn small and they need to make it normal text size like basically all the forums out there. I'm sick of hitting Ctrl++ in Firebird everytime I come here; thankfully my vision is 20/20 still, but goddamn this is too small!

I like the OT threads. They are fun.

I do think an OT section would be best, though.

Savor the flavor.

In a moderated forum this thread would be deleted. There are moderated Ableton forums, you may prefer one of them. How about an OT on this thread's title?

off topic stuff should in my opinion only be a part of unofficial forums ...

i'd like this forum to be ableton specific .. seriously i don't give a shit what people stand in the mac vs pc issue, and i honestly don't give a fuck about your opinion on global politics ..

i see awful lot of situations where a dozens of potentially intresting threads drowns in floods of useless mac vs pc arguements ..
