saving status of vst plugins (x/y controls....)

hi - the settings of the x/y controls on some vst plugins (I haven't tested this for all my plugins yet) are not saved when I close and then re-open my songs.

Does anyone else have this problem? Its a bit annoying having to reselect the parameters each time.

is there anyway to save the settings?
