If I could split the two views to seperate windows, then I could take the grooves I've made in Impulse for example, and drag them into the Arrange view like loops.
It seems the only way to do this now is to Record them playing from the Session view into the Arrange view in real-time, then go into the Arrange view and isolate/re-order from there.
In other words, non-realtime jamming...arranging/composing like one would with Acid and loops. Does that make sense? Drag-n-drop would eliminate a step or two, no? Another good argument for splittability of the two views?
/or am I retarded?
