X-Session Pro for $89 + tax, Good Deal??
I hope I din't pay too much, that sounded like a good price, is the "pro" different from previous model?
I went ahead and ordered it (takes a week to get to local music store) without really shopping around because I've always liked this shop (Spitzer Music, Concord, CA)
Whenever I see them online they seem to go for $100+, don't know if those are the "pro" or not.
Comments?
I decided to believe the guy on here who said the knobs being under the fader (instead of above) isn't a problem once you're used to it.

its completley differrent, and in my view not as good.
the x-session had come in for criticsm it looks like a basic dj mixer (have you not seen photo)
compared to the 16 rotary + 1 cross fader etc.
but i love it, for portabality you cant knock it, its all i take to gigs,it stick in your hand luggage with you laptop, and a few of my label mates travel the world with it.
but i suppose it depends what you do with it

when i ordered it I didn't realize there were two models, I thought there was only one. Then when i got of the phone it stuck in my head that he said "pro" where I had not seen that in previous descriptions online.the unknown wanderer wrote:its completley differrent, and in my view not as good.

I already paid for half of it so will probably stick with it regardless, but thanks for the heads-up..
So how is the price I'm paying?

but i suppose it depends what you do with it if you are happy with just four channels then go for it, but in my view its a step back
So you have the pro or the older one?
four channels might do it for me, I will check the specs and find out what I just bought, lol

Nova seems to be the 1st peeps to have it.
There are other options, but for $89, I don't think you can go too wrong.

huh, when I click on "more info" it links to the M-Audio site which of course has absolutely no info on this controller.
Anyone have a bigger picture?
Sorry to be a pest..

Weird, shortly after I mentioned I couldn't find it on the M-Aidio site, it appears (thanks to whoever posted it in the other thread).
So I've waited 8 days (not that long) and mine hasn't come in yet, can anyone confirm it's on US shelves?
