Post by Dr Dub » Sun Oct 01, 2006 6:09 pm

Could somebody post a list of all Midi controller, which are right now supported
from Live 6?

Any thought which ones work in which way and which one is recommended?

I searched, but wasn t able to find a complete list of devices.

Thank you so much!

I really Like the new Axiom Support. It is three templates with modifier keys and all. And being that each section of the axiom is controlled seperately it makes the combinations of the entire serface kinda endless.
I'm still learning the layout, but it's like.... let's say you have a device with a lot of controls, well you only have 8 knobs.... so if you hit drum pad 1 or 2 or 3 etc, each time you get a new bank of knobs so eventually every knob is accessable. If you have the 49 or 61 key version, the button onder the 9th (master) fader acts as a Shift (modifier) key to get other features also. Every device seems to be fully mapped out. They did so much I'll probably have to print a cheat sheet to remember all the new functions like the BCF-2000 except Axiom has the Latch/pick-up feature in Live for the faders. Also pressing the + or - button for Global midi chanel switches from Live mixer to Live devices..... I' tell you more once I get it all memorized.

Trigger Finger Patch to use for this feature

Post by jksuperstar » Fri Oct 06, 2006 5:54 am

For the Trigger Finger, use the default "GM Percussion" patch for the TF. This gives master volume (1st slider) and the "best-of-bank" control via knobs (see last 3 pages of control surface lesson for device mappings). All other controllers (pads & sliders) are left for manual mapping or tracking of GM percussion.
