can't save v5.2 sets in v6

i'm still having to do a "save as" with my sets from 5 in 6.0.1 is this by design?

I believe that it would be. Say for instance, you have 5 and 6 on your computer, as I do presently. If you saved over your set, it would never again open in 5. Therefore, it is asking to rename so this doesn't occur, or whatnot.

In the past, people have gone back a release to gig when there were slight stability issues.

right.. but the change from 4 to 5 wasn't like that (which was not backwards compatable either)... looks like lots of renaming and deleting going on.
