The Kind and Helpful People Awards..We Really Appreciate it!

Post by stale bread » Wed Oct 04, 2006 10:28 pm

not all of these people are nice all the time  but so what, they're great folks who've been very helpful and I'm grateful for the knowledge they've shared with us during those not so easy times navigating through the Live paragdigm.

Thank You Very Much for being so very helpful, patient, and just wanting to lend a hand.

I second that.

Word to their muthas.
15" PB 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig RAM, 750 GB HD, Live 9 still no cue points or program change messages?!?. Doesn't do shit.

Word is born! I would've jacked this in looong ago and gone back to strictly DJ'ing with vinyl if not for the barrage of tips from those guys (and others!)

And I definitely wouldn't have started producing if I'd not stuck at Live...

first, thanks to the academy,

and there's a long list of people without whom this wouldn't have been possible, my agent, etc.

actually, there's a whole load of people you forgot .. the obvious ones which will make you kick yourself.

Sqook for example? he made a nice wiki for us all.
Pitch Black, he herded all those sheep so we don't have to, Peeddrroo the beta crazy person, SalesDudeMcBoob, Leisuremuffin, Tarekith, etc. etc.

er, all those other people I see round here, god they're all helpfull. Think of the ableton dudes who could easilly be much more shit if they wanted !

It'd be a shorter list if you just listed the unhelpful people, but I guess that goes against the spirit eh? ;)

As one of the ones who's "not nice all the time" I feel honoured that I get a chance to represent the pricks of the world on such a fine forum as this.

I'd add LongJohns to that list, the dude answers tons of questions and gets them right, always polite too. (We need to find his sore spot. )

Props to all those in the list above, I'm floored at the talent here, it's humbling, humiliating and encouraging to check out your accomplishments.

Add to the list anyone who puts up web sites, posts .als files, adds to the wiki and makes this community the pubescent beat banging middle aged bald headed geeked out sandbox it is. The latest offerings from the Covert Ops are stunning, I'm sooooo glad those guys have no life. ;)

christ, i don't know how i made it on that list, i thought everybody thought i was an opinionated asshole. which i sort of am. or just am.

but i do actually answer questions i know the answer to when i get to them first... that happens every once in a while.....

y'know, i really like this forum and the folks who come here. It gets dicey in here sometimes but whatev, that's an internet forum for ya. mostly it's a pretty fun place to bulshit with other live fanatics.

here's to fun and bullshit!

cheers!

Second the longjohns

and speaking of not having a life and the covert ops - I'm sure Hoffman has no life and should have been watching SP tonight (or tomorrow - or whatever time it is in Belgium) - new SEASON!

World of War Craft episode - it was about ONLINE GAMERS WITH NO LIFE

No joke either

funny as hell

peace

oh, and thanks!
