Sound clips after 80% cpu-load on macbook

Hi,
No matter what buffersize I use, my sound is clipping and cracking very hard if I reach the 80% cpu-load on my macbook 2.0Ghz, 2GB memory, both in Live5 en 6. It's really annoying, does someone have the same problem or knows what it is?

you're probably just reaching your Limit - the 80% only refers to what Live uses for it's audio engine and doesnt inlcude the graphics or anything else on your machine, 80% is pretty much the max
