6.01 Moving multiple clips = audio drop outs

Post by Tarekith » Thu Oct 12, 2006 6:52 pm

Here's oen I can reproduce almost always. Put 10 full length song clips ina row on a single track in session view, leave a few empty scenes above them all. Start playing the first one. Now select all the clips, and drag them upwards so the playing clip is in Scene 1.

Audio drops out momentarily.

I guess I don't understand why it should matter if I'm staying in the same track?

yeah, i guess my reaction is kind of based on imagining how i would feel if i were on the programming team!

similar thing i've tried as a test: duplicating across the current playback position... it has a hard time with that too.

That's ok, I gues I can see how this would happen since so many of the midi mapping destinations are slot based, not clip based.
