I tried search for the answer but didn't find anything so here goes....
When I assign a MIDI CC controller to the tempo control the values the controller sends are obviously only 0-127 so the resolution for adjusting the tempo is horrible. Whats the best way to control the tempo in a DJ style for beatmatching to an external source with no midi clock or anything?
I want to be able to turn a knob and be able to make slight (less than one BPM) adjustments throughout the mix.
How do you guys do it?
Mike

in MIDI map mode, you can adjust the range of your parameter. (Live 5 - at the botttom of the screen. Live 6 - in the MIDI map browser.)
Change it to something like 140>130 and you'll have high-resolution control over BPM, in reverse - just like a turntable pitch slider.

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that tonight.
