I'm DJing with Live 6 and an M-Audio firewire 410 interface.
I'm running two pairs of outs into the DJ mixer in order to retain crossfader control etc.
I do this by starting my set with 2 blank channels in the centre of my Live page. I send the left channel to Bus A and the right channel to Bus B.
The bus outputs are set to external outs from the Firewire 410.
The levels from the box are useable but nowhere near those from a CDJ (I am exactly the same audio files)
Also my M-Audio control panel is showing max levels out of the interface.
Any ideas guys?

I had this EXACT problem with my 410 when I had it. Never found a solution. My workaround was to buy a shitty little Alesis micro compressor for $40, and increase the gain on that before running it out.
The real solution was to buy a better interface, but I'm sure you didn't want to hear that. Heh heh.
