moving MIDI hits and quantization swing

Post by iggychop » Sat Oct 21, 2006 7:24 pm

I plan on getting Live 6, but I just wanted to know if it's possible to move individual hits of midi after they have been recorded.

I used Live Lite 5 and I made a midi track using Battery as a VST and it did not let me move midi hits. Is this possible?

Also, is there some type of swing or quantize shuffle? I couldn't seem to find anything.

Thanks in advance for the help!!!

Iggy

yes of course you can. You can move them within the current quantise resolution or you can switch that off and move the midi notes around with no quantisation. I cant see why live lite 5 wouldnt let you move midi notes around im certain thats something your doing wrong

when your in the grid edit page right click and see what your quantisation resolution is set to. Do you have it set on one or more bars? set it to 1/16 and the notes will move or turn it off altogether for really fine tuning.
HA HA HA
