Hey all!
I am thinking about using Ableton Live 6 in my band. (modern/thrash metal).
The plan is that I am going to trigger some samples with a footswitch.
I have everything set up nicely but theres only one problem left.
Our drummer doesn´t´play to a metronome so the tempo is going up and down in small amounts. To make the samples play along with our drummer tight, I have to tap the tempo with the footswitch. Now the problem is that the tap tempo button doesn´t work any good. When I start to tap the tempo the sample start to jump out of sync for a while. What I would like to have is that every time I tap the tempo button the grid/metronome is locked to the taps. Is this possible to do? Its hard to explain but I hope someone understands and is able to help me.
