Live 6 undo flatten crash

Post by Pericles » Fri Oct 27, 2006 2:50 pm

Well i just took the plunge to upgrade to 5 today. I say 'plunge' not cos I didn't want to - far from it, been eagerly awaiting the video and dual processor features. It's just that inevitably a new version of live brings new reasons for crashes!

Today i've been having a problem with a flatten track, I wanted to start flattening the audio tracks in a mix, so i di the first one - a mono synth track - and the flatten track turned the signal back into stereo.

No problem i thought, there must be a preference somewhere for this, or i have to add the utility for mono, or whatever.

However the Undo command (not just control z but also the edit menu) for Undo Flatten Track caused Live to crash. Restarting and rescuing the session four or five times did nothing to stop this from reoccuring.

Anyone had probs with this function?

I was using Waves RVerb + Sonalksis Compressor - possible it's Waves....

apart from this a few other crashes, the extra features are killer though.
