heres a thought. if someone is doing something that offends you, couldn't you just look away? there.. problem solved, you're not being offended anymore.

why doesn't it work this way? steves family would be offended by this episode, soooo......... how bout they just not watch it??

the people in this world are soooooooooo concerned about what other people are doing, if you shut yourself in a room and never turned on the tv then the actions of the outside world are totally inconsiquencial. so you can make the descision to seperate yourself from their actions and not be offended as a result and everybody wins. shut yourself in a room in your mind! (deep!)

again, its debatable. Its like she's been born into it - but does that make it ok ?
only 6 weeks after her father dies and she's back in the studio...

it would be wrong to deprive her of the life she's used to...but why does it seem so seedy & wrong ?....I dunno.

I actually posted the link cause you could watch the news report whcih showed a bit of it

personally I laughed - his kids shouldnt be watching it anyway and his wife and family have now been warned

other than that I think people generally know what to expect from south park - there isnt much on there that's not bad taste, but they also parody life in general and it could be argued most of the time that that bad taste is only reflecting what is really there

the team america bit where they completely destroyed all those french cultural Icons was a very subtle dig at the over the top heavy handed destruction of baghdad, one of the oldest cradles of civilisation with countless archaeological artifacts and sites - I doubt "shock and awe" was treading too carefully there "america fuck yeah"

Steve Irwin probably would have laughed anyway - the Australian sense of humour is not known for being politically correct

I think the "sensationalism" bat buzzer started flashing and they sent their US contacts round to check it out

it said in the report that it wont be aired here until mid next year

I'm sure someone on this forum will post a youtube link pretty soon though

south park i really didnt get at first - its not easy watchin and really isnt for kids.. its as subtle as a housebrick and ISNT at the same time
