Hello,
I recently downloaded the demo ableton warped tracks www.dancetracksdigital.com has on their site. Everything worked flawlessly and I was impressed by the audio quality.
My only questions are:
- Their tracks have 1 Warp Marker and syncs perfectly. My warped tracks may require many more warp markers in order to sync properly. What's their secret?
- The tracks are warped using BEATS mode which is much lower quality than COMPLEX. What's the secret behind that?
thanks.

Beats and complex mode will both keep your tracks in their original key, but complex is a bitch on your cpu. When you change the tempo considerably on beats mode you'll start to hear the effects of the slicing, but this is mainly with big tempo changes.
Also, if you do a forum search on warping techniques, you'll find that at most you need 1 or 2, or sometimes no warp markers on electronicly produced music. If you've recorded off vinyl you might need to do some more warping, and intstrumental music requires a lot more cos humans just don't have perfect timing like a digital signature does.
Hope that helps.
