Screen Re-Rendering Problems in Live

Does anyone have this issue?

My screen continually whites out in certain areas while in Live 6.0.1 for OSX (Core Duo running 10.4). Takes a few seconds to rerender the screen. I sometimes have to move my cursor over the areas I want to see.

Even now, in Firefox, while Live is running in the background, I'm getting white areas.

P.S. I just installed Live. I'm a new user, and don't have much in the way of VST plug-ins etc. So I have a feeling it's a Live issue, rather than third party.
