My apologies if this one has been mentioned before.
1. Go to file browser window.
2. External to the application delete the directory Live is currently pointing at.
3. Browser window goes blank and there is no way to re-populate it.
I think this is a bug (not a bad one but still a bug). The browser window should revert to some default folder.
What'dya think??
WM
File browser Window -bug??
I have a similar problem.
...Well, had a similar problem:
I went up in the hirerarchial [sp] menu, in folder 3 within the live browser window, to the top. the widow went blank and would not "repopulate". It stayed that way for weeks... even thru upgrade to 3.
But... as I began this post I switched over to Live to check my facts and there was my drive in the window. I must be missing something here but I'm not going to dwell on it. Maybe it's some sorta graphical refresh bug.

Hallo together,
I could not reproduce the bug you described. If I delete the "root" folder (which is acually not visible itself!) and go back to Live, the browser points to the desk.
Note: the browser does not scroll automatically if its content its gone. Could it be, that you did not delete the root but its content and thus your browser is just scolled far away?
Best Regards, Reiner
