A problem....tracks became mute all of a sudden

hello

this might seem stupid to some ppl but i have a problem
i dont know what keys i pressed but now all the tracks
are silent (when i play clips) there is no sound
although in the track volume the yellow signal
is now gray and showing some activity.

i would like to mention that if i turn on solo button for
tracks then the certain track that's solo-ed works.

but what do i do to get the hear all the tracks???

ps. i have ableton live 5

ah...ok...i figured it out

turn off solo > turn off automation > activate all tracks (yellow squares)

but still i don't know what caused it in the first place,or what key pressed
coz i couldn't find the keyboard short-cut for this operation in the manual.
