I am currently helping a few of my professors set up recording equipment in their studios and we bought the M-Audio Mobile-Pre and we are using the Abelton Software that comes with it, it is the Live Delta 2.12.
The issue we are having is when we try to record and play back, the sound is distorted and fuzzy and really bad sounding, when we just play straight through the computer, it works fine, it is just when we use the software. I got it to work perfectly once and do not know how and have not been able to find anything in the help sections that indicate how to fix this. I believe it might be an issue where the Mobile Pre and the software are not synced together properly but am not sure. Both my professor and I are familiar with other programs. Do anyone of you guys know what might be the problem and how to fix it? The OS is XP and it is a school laptop of some form or another.
